The Association of Catering Professionals (ACAPS) started in May 2011, when caterers and food suppliers needed a common voice to represent the food services industry in Singapore.

With the joint efforts of a group of like-minded caterers and suppliers, ACAPS was born. The association first served as a bridge between catering businesses and government agencies — in order to raise the professionalism of caterers in Singapore. As the landscape evolved, ACAPS also matured into a platform for networking, supporting, and celebrating the catering craft.

Caterers today have moved beyond a simplistic cook-and-convey service, into the orchestration of sophisticated dining events. By rallying professional caterers everywhere, ACAPS can continually advance our industry through economies of scale and collaborative problem-solving.

ASEAN Coffee Federation (ACF) was first conceived by a group of passionate ASEAN coffee industry players who are in constant pursuit of improving and developing the quality of ASEAN’s coffee beans, so as to compete in the world stage.

On the 14th March 2013, Singapore, the formal formation of the ASEAN Coffee Federation was completed with its adoption of the Federation’s Constitution by the Board which had also held its inaugural constitutional election of coffee bearers with the President of Singapore Coffee Association (SCA), Mr Victor Mah, elected as the Founding President of ACF

On 30 July 1979 on the initiative of Mr. Osman Soedargo (PT. Palembang Jaya) and Mr. Karta Widjaja (PT Lakop) a number of coffee exporters held a meeting with the Director General of Foreign Trade, Mr. Dr. Suhadi Mangkusuwondo, to discuss the issue of PET (Additional Export Tax) imposed on coffee exports. The PET levy is felt to be onerous and exporters hope that its implementation will be delayed for at least two months.

After discussing this issue, and bearing in mind that in the future there will certainly be problems with the coffee trade system that also need to be discussed with the government, Mr Suhadi Mangkusuwondo suggested that exporters immediately form an association. This suggestion received a positive response so on July 30, according to the meeting, it was agreed to form an association, namely the Association of Indonesian Coffee Exporters (AEKI).

Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore is Singapore’s first food bank and aims to be the prevailing centralised coordinating organisation for all food donations in Singapore. Driven by its mission to eradicate food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025, the registered charity bridges potential donors and member beneficiaries by collecting and redistributing donated food. Its members are registered charity organisations or special organisations with a designated meal programme for low income and underprivileged individuals and families. Through a network of more than 300 such organisations of all sizes, the food bank serves more than 100,000 families and over 300,000 people with all kinds of food – from fresh to cooked.

GS1 Singapore is a member-based, not-for-profit organization that operates as the local chapter of GS1, an international standards organization, with its global office based in Brussels, Belgium. GS1 Singapore is dedicated to the development and adoption of global supply chain standards to improve efficiency, visibility, and traceability in various industries.

One of the key services offered by GS1 Singapore is the issuance of Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs) and barcodes, which are used to uniquely identify products. By utilizing these standardized codes, businesses can enhance inventory management, enable accurate product identification, and streamline logistics operations.

Hospitality Purchasing Association (S) is proud and honored to collaborate with Speciality Food & Drinks Asia and Food2Go in 2023. The new normal is still a moving target, this platform gives all partners the opportunity to evolve and grow together. The Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP) as a non-profit/non-stock organization fosters networking and encourages promotion of members’ businesses amongst themselves and to the rest of the Hospitality Industry.  As the umbrella organization of the Hospitality Industry, HRAP aims to take the lead role as the single voice organization representing the Philippine private sector in the hotel and restaurant industry.

HRAP exposes its members to events, gatherings, seminars that focus on topics and updates, relevant to the management of hotels, restaurants as well as its suppliers and academe members. To bring forth HRAP's presence globally, HRAP is one of the nine founding members of ASEAN Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHRA) and a member of ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) comprising 35 members from the public and private tourism sector from Asean countries. 

HRAP was founded and incorporated in 1951 and reincorporated in August 2002.

Myanmar Coffee Association has established in 2014 with the aim to increase income for coffee farmers and to upgrade their living quality by means of annual increase in productivity and innovation. Our Association main office is located in Pyin Oo Lwin City (formerly Maymyo), a scenic hill town in Mandalay division, Myanmar.

Our Association recently is composed of six clusters; PyinOoLwin, Moegok, Ywarngan, Nyaungcho, Mintat and Yangon. There are more than 300 members in our Association.

The Philippine Coffee Board Inc. (PCBI) is a private sector-led group established in May 2002 as the National Coffee Development Board. The goal of the PCBI is to develop and promote the Philippine coffee industry through technical assistance and credit programs for coffee farmers; and through marketing and promotions of coffee for domestic and export markets.

Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) was founded in 1977, originally as the Singapore Retail Merchants Association by 10 leading retailers. It is a non-profit, independent/non-governmental retail trade body in Singapore, funded entirely by the private sector. Led by 18 Council Members from leading companies and SMEs, SRA’s vision is to be the respected and collective voice of the retail industry and advance the interests of the retail industry via insights, education and strategic collaborations.

In 2007, several Indonesia coffee farmer groups, exporters, roasters and retailers decided to form a Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI) to improve and increase the quality of Indonesian Arabica coffee quality and quantity. SCAI was founded in 2008 and its membership are open to individuals, institutions and coffee community who deal with specialty coffee (formerly only Arabica but later Fine Robusta also available) from Indonesia. All Including individual farmers, farmers group, buyers, roaters, exporters, retailers and individual/person who have the same mission.

Thai Coffee Association is a nonprofit organization which has been established since 1982.  We support all coffee sectors in Thailand to produce finest coffee to be recognized in the world market.   The association acts as a center of coffee knowledge, networking, enhancing safety, sustainability and green development. The Association's members comprise enterprises and individuals from all coffee value chains to sustain our coffee industry.

Currently, the Vietnam Coffee – Cocoa Association (VICOFA) has over 100 members who are enterprises, companies, production and processing enterprises purchasing, exporting, coffee and cocoa, research centers and research institutes, in the country from the North to the South in both Robusta and Arabica coffee regions.

The Association always want to receive new members and expand cooperation with organisations and businesses of domestic and foreign economic sectors in the field of coffee and cocoa.
